Entitled "Venus", the "Natural Crystal Chair" is Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka's latest project.
Truly an innovative production process, "a substrate made of polyester elastomer forms the skeleton and is submerged in a tank, causing crystals to grow on the substrate", says Today and Tomorrow.
I'm not the only one who find Yoshioka's work truly awesome. MOMA has acquired several of his pieces for their permanent collection.
